Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mattawan High School

I have graduated from Mattawan High School with High Honors and Summa Cum Laude Status, the highest distinction formally available from the Mattawan Consolidated School District.  I am departing with a weighted GPA of 4.200 and, throughout the duration of my secondary schooling, I have completed 11 Advanced Placement courses that are certified by the College Board, passing all of these university-level exams that I so chose to participate in and earning the equivalent of over 30 credits at some tertiary institutions throughout the state.

I also served as my class's president and had the opportunity to speak at graduation.  My numerous other leadership experiences included being SADD president, the Model United Nations Head Delegate, and the Varsity Track Captain, among other roles.

I have been awarded the College Board AP Scholar with Distinction Award in 2011 and the College Board AP Scholar with Honor Award in 2010.  Furthermore, I was a 2011 Kalamazoo Gazette Student Achiever and have been recognized by numerous other publications, both for my achievements and for editorial articles.
